A great opportunity to join an established design business supporting a team of interior designs with all elements of production planning and project co-ordination.
The nature of the role requires the Design Project Coordinator to be based in the office 5 days a week and you must have use of your own vehicle.

The Design Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Assist the Designers in all phases of the interior design projects including site visits and taking detailed measurements
- Prepare worksheets instructing Outworkers in the making up soft furnishings and other items
- Liaise, schedule and deliver all work going to and from Outworkers including delivery of fabrics and collection of finished items in own vehicle
- Manage scheduling of fitting days and delivery of work to site
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, contractors and team members to ensure project success
- Oversee all aspects of sampling for the Designers and manage both the pattern book and brochure Design Libraries keeping them up to date
- Scheduling of Rep Days for suppliers to visit the studio to show their new products
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager and support them in preparing Client Estimates and ordering as required
- General administrative duties to include managing new enquiries, answering the telephone, assisting with walk in customers and keeping the studio tidy
The Interior Design Project Coordinator Qualities
- Experience of co-ordinating projects, ideally in a production environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and ability to set up and maintain schedules and specification sheets
- Ability to resolve issues in a calm and pragmatic way.
- Experience in building, nurturing and fostering relationships with Stakeholders
- Interior Design, property or construction sector desirable.
- Ability to work within a supportive team proactively managing workload and timelines
- Strong communication skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Must have own transport as office is in a rural location.
