The Role
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to continue their career development by being involved with a landmark transformation project of national significance. Clear communication to colleagues is essential in managing the changes this programme will demand. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the delivery of internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement and connection.
- Contribute to planning and executing engaging campaigns for airport-wide initiatives.
- Manage key communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, digital signage, and team briefings.
- Write and edit clear, compelling content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Use creativity to bring communication campaigns to life in fresh and memorable ways.
- Build strong working relationships with teams across the business to understand their communication needs.
- Ensure messages reach all colleagues by considering diverse perspectives and communication preferences.
- Discover and share inspiring stories and updates that celebrate achievements and build community.
- Collaborate with marketing and external communications teams to maintain consistent messaging.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and suggest improvements to enhance reach and impact.
What will make you successful in the role?
In order to successfully deliver within this position, you will posses the following:
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously, with experience of managing own diary and workload
- A proactive and curious approach
- Ability to prioritise and respond to incoming actions
- A creative outlook, with a desire to innovate
- Profficience in MS Office Suite
- Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders up to Director level
- Experience with multiple internal communication chanels
- Experience of using inDesign/Photoshop would be beneficial
