Description

Westcon-Comstor are looking for an Internal Vendor Specialist / Partner Experience Executive who will be working in a dedicated Vendor Team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, giving support to the Sales function, both internal and external with Vendor Specialist knowledge. This hybrid role is based at our Bracknell office near Reading, UK.


You will need to be in the office 3 days a week (usually Tuesday to Thursday including month/quarter ends).

o Attend training fortnightly

* Working from Vendor offices once a week

o Building knowledge of the Vendor, their Strategy, Products and Services

* Sales Central (CRM) - Pipeline management

o Support with Strategic Accounts

o Ownership of unmanaged partners

* Support/Drive Vendor specific Promotions

* Supporting the Product Specialists and Sales with BOM and complex quoting

* Supporting Sales with the closing of opportunities

* Fortnightly message creation for the Partner Strategy teams

* Supporting Sales with pre-sales, accreditations, training, enablement, focus sales days


Administrative/Self Development

* Prepare for and participate in vendor and sales meetings.

* Attend relevant internal and external product training

* Attend all required internal and external meetings

* Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon and vendor product portfolio

* Respond to customer's requests promptly in a professional, polite and friendly manner and within the agreed customer SLA

* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints in a prioritized manner

* Build and maintain business relationship with the vendor, internal and external customers, ensuring actions are processed promptly and accurately

* Dealing directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face

* Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource through the workflow tools

* Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, comments and complaints on Sales View

* Record details of actions taken, using workflow tools

* Establish productive vendor relations to ensure quality of service to customers


ABOUT YOU

Experience

A self-motivated individual with an appetite to succeed with a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a proactive Internal Account Manager or Product Specialist within IT / Cybersecurity.


Desired skills include:

* Significant work experience in customer service or sales strongly preferred

* Able to memorize product specifications and demonstrate use accurately

* Able to work cooperatively as part of a team

* Must be reliable and punctual

* Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette

* Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
