The Role

This role is part of the International department at PRS, who are a passionate team of over 20 responsible for driving and assuring International revenues that are the highest of any Music Collective Management Organisation in the world. The department works across a range of areas including society relationship and service management, revenue assurance, and direct licensing.

This is an exciting new role in the International Development & Licensing team that has been created to deliver a range of research, benchmarking, modelling and reporting to enable the commercial team to deliver revenue growth for PRS. We are looking for a seasoned analyst with hands on experience in developing commercial models to support deal negotiations.

This role is known internally as International Development & Licensing Analyst.

Responsibilities

As our International Development & Licensing Analyst (Business Analyst), some of your day to day duties will include…

  • Working with the International commercial team to help deliver the revenue growth targets and strategy.
  • Supporting the International commercial team across licensing negotiations, with a focus on commercial modelling, business and market intelligence gathering and financial analytics.
  • Developing ‘Deep Research’ models to build informed insights on potential licensing prospects and sectors.
  • Providing regular business analysis - manipulating and drawing meaningful insights from from large data sets and presenting findings.
  • Involvement in project work supporting the broader international development team.

About You

  • Experience working with building and maintaining complex commercial models to support deal negotiations.

  • The ability to write reports with recommendations for Director and management team.
  • The ability to customise code (utilising Python3, FFmpe in conjunction with APIs) is preferred.

The Process

Our Interview Process For This Role Is Simple

  • First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

We use competency-based questions within our interviews. This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. To assist your preparation for interview, research the STAR method to aid bringing your examples to life.

Location

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
