How You Will Make An Impact
Reporting to the CUO Global Casualty with a matrix to the CEO AIG Multinational, this role will be responsible to develop and execute multinational product strategy for Casualty and includes working with the Captive Teams and Issuing Offices. Working closely with the regional teams from Underwriting and MN, this role is the point of contact for all things Multinational Casualty. This role is part of the Global CUO office and can be based in any AIG office within Europe or UK.
This role is responsible for leading the MN Casualty offering for International Casualty and coordinating with the Head of Foreign Casualty team to ensure Global Alignment. This includes developing product strategy, training, reviewing, improving and implementing Casualty multinational underwriting processes which efficiently integrate with and are compliant with AIG’s broader multinational operating procedures and standards.
- Lead the development, implementation and execution of the Multinational Casualty offering within International
- Oversee the multinational value proposition that brings together a seamless global controlled master program to deliver upon client’s risk transfer needs in the local geographies in which they operate (aligned with the US Foreign Casualty team)
- Collaborates with multinational operations in identifying how Casualty M/N underwriting can help drive improvements in service delivery/operational efficiency within the agreed SLA’s and implementing and executing associated action plans .
- Based on the International Casualty M/N strategy/business plan, support and aid operations in tracking production goals for growth, business mix, and profitability through promoting the MN offering and captive fronting capabilities, aligned with the overall product strategy. Track these within each Region as well as overall Casualty International. If agreed KPIs are missed, this role needs to understand any deviations and adjust operations or strategy to ensure they are met
- Collaborate with regional CLT members to ensure that market trends are incorporated into product development and M/N product and pricing strategies both within Master and local policies.
- Working with Business Unit Legal to ensure Good Local standard wordings are in place across the network
- Align with Claims to ensure significant M/N claims issues are addressed in both product wordings and UW of MN policies.
- Ensure each Region has the trained staff, or the support needed to offer both standard M/N products and to create a customized M/N solutions for our clients.
- Interact with brokers and clients to understand and balance challenging risk positions to maintain a profitable business mix an to explain our M/N strategy and value proposition.
- Product liaison point to/from AIG’s Multinational Division. Support the Head of Multinational through active participation and contribution to the leadership and direction of AIG’s multinational business.
- Develop and ensure adherence to global fronting and multinational underwriting and CUO guidelines.
- Work with the MN Regional Heads in the development and management of exposure mitigation frameworks.
- Work with all relevant stakeholders in developing reviewing and monitoring consistent pricing for m/n policy issuing and servicing across the casualty book both risk transfer and risk management business

What you'll need to know
- Insurance leadership experience, casualty and/or multinational experience preferred.
- Understand international regulatory and compliance processes.
- Broad insurance industry experience.
- Knowledge of market segmentation, portfolio management, acquisition and distribution.
- Process and system skills.
- Experience with pricing and UW methodology
