What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented International Payroll Assistant to join our global payroll team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the UK-based Global Payroll Manager, you will be part of a close-knit team of five, supporting payroll operations across multiple international locations including UK, Australia, South Africa, Japan, China, India, South Korea, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and others in the pipeline
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, diligent, pro-active and have a flexible approach to managing their workload. They will also be process oriented and have a keen eye for detail.

What Will You Be Doing
- Manage international payroll processes, liaising with HR teams across global offices to gather and verify monthly payroll data.
- Upload monthly payroll changes into ADP Streamline and ensure data accuracy in collaboration with ADP partners.
- Support payroll authorisation processes and respond to related queries from the Global Payroll Manager.
- Administer net pay transactions, either directly or via ADP, depending on location.
- Address employee queries regarding salary, benefits, taxation, and social security.
- Assist with monthly and annual local payroll tax reporting and compliance.
- Reconcile trial balance accounts for each payroll and support benefit administration.
- Monitor legislative changes across jurisdictions and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to onboarding new payroll locations, including setup, testing, and parallel runs.
- Provide audit support and assist with the annual HMRC PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) returns.
- Process tax year ends as required for various entities.
- Offer additional support to the London payroll team during peak periods.
Skills And Experience
- Prior experience in international payroll is essential; familiarity with ADP Streamline is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Shadow Payroll operations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and a flexible attitude to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation skills.
- Experience with NetSuite accounting software is advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a growing team.
