Role overview
We're seeking an experienced International Tax Advisor to join the firm's Tax team, providing high-quality compliance and advisory support across a range of international tax matters. The role combines technical execution with stakeholder engagement across finance, legal and business teams.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax compliance and advisory work.
Coordinate and prepare tax clearance applications and liaison with HMRC and overseas advisers.
Assist with permanent establishment (PE) risk analysis and mitigation, working with cross-border teams.
Support international tax compliance activities, ensuring timely filings and accurate returns (EMEA and APAC)
Advise on withholding tax queries and compliance issues, escalating where appropriate.
Contribute to VAT compliance and advisory matters and support tax audit processes.
Skills & experience
Strong technical experience in corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax
ACA/ACCA qualified; a tax qualification (e.g., CTA or ADIT) desirable.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large data sets.
Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex tax issues simply.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage key relationships across functions.
