Intranet and Digital Internal Comms Specialist – 12 month contract

Salary: £400 day rate inside IR35

A transport business with hard to reach employee base, needs an experienced Digital Internal Communications expert to join them for a 12 month contract to launch new intranet site and build out their digital capabilities.

Working with the Head of Comms, Internal Comms Lead and wider function, this person will review and audit existing channel management, tools and strategy and recommend and implement future plans. Working to ensure end-to-end employee journey, strong listening culture and developing programme based on divisional needs and capabilities.

Specific activities include:

• Review and audit channels and put in plan to improvements including strong measurement and analytics.
• Develop strong relationships around business to understand need and help adopt new channels and methods of comms.
• Integrate AI and self serve model where appropriate.
• Leave them with a strong framework for future operating to ensure success.

Must have previous employee engagement experience ideally gained in business with hard to reach, digital low population.

Can demonstrate experience of launching previous intranets – ideally SharePoint and other digital platforms.

Able to gain buy in from stakeholders and be seen as a trusted advisor.

Flex working is two days on site and three from home.
