My client is a Life Insurance business who are looking for an investment accountant to sit in their London office. They have had exciting growth over the past few years resulting in the team expanding to manage the reporting for their growing investment portfolio.
- You will be responsible for all reporting the investment accounting numbers for the portfolio
- Ensuring the data is accurate from internal and external stakeholders
- Providing insight to the investment positions and reporting this to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring all controls and investment operation processes are documented and in place
They are looking for a qualified accountant who has at least one year experience in industry in an investment or fund accounting capacity. Experience working in insurance and Solvency II knowledge is advantageous but will also consider candidates from broader asset management industries.
This will be an initial 18 month fixed term contract but there is scope to go permanent for the right candidate. Salary is £60,000-£70,000 + bonus + benefits. You'll be based in their impressive London office on a flexible hybrid model.
