Intro to the role.
We are seeking a motivated Investment Intern to join our team, focusing on identifying and evaluating promising Web3 investment opportunities. The role also involves providing key support on accelerator programme operations. This role offers hands-on experience in startup deal sourcing, due diligence, and the investment process within the rapidly evolving web3 ecosystem. You will gain access and learnings from real experts in investing, web3 & the startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities
You will be doing:
- Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and evaluate venture-backable Web3 startups
- Due Diligence: Conduct preliminary research and analysis on potential portfolio companies, including market assessment, competitive landscape analysis, and reference calls
- Information Synthesis: Compile and present diligence findings in clear, actionable investment memos for senior team review
- Programme Operations: Support in key operational and logistical needs for delivering the accelerator program
Requirements
- Strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and decentralised applications
- Self-motivated and organised with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in startups, finance, venture capital or Web3 ecosystem preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of information
