Associate – Private Equity (Lower Mid-Market), Europe

A leading global private equity fund is hiring an Associate to join its Lower Mid-Market European investment team. The role offers hands-on exposure across the full deal lifecycle, with a strong focus on value creation and operational impact.

Responsibilities

Support deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and portfolio management
Lead commercial and operational analysis during due diligence
Work closely with portfolio company management on value creation initiatives
Prepare investment committee materials and monitor portfolio performance
Gain broad exposure across pan-European transactions

Profile

2–4 years’ experience from a top-tier strategy consulting firm
Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with interest in Lower Mid-Market PE
European exposure preferred; additional languages a plus
