Investment Associate (PE) - Africa focused

We are partnered with a leading Africa focused PE fund based in London. The team are looking to secure the newest addition to the team in the form of an investment associate.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months to 4 years of experience in M&A, PE or sit in the PIPE team of the big three consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of the investment lifecycle: origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management
• Conduct market research, build financial models, and assist in valuation and deal structuring
• Prepare materials for investment committee presentations and stakeholder reporting
• Work closely with international teams and portfolio company management

Candidate Profile:

• 18 months–4 years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Exposure to emerging markets is a plus
• Exposure to traditional PE sectors is a must have.
• Self-starter with strong commercial judgement and a collaborative mindset

Languages: Bilingual Arabic/French is a plus
