Investment Associate – Asset-Backed Healthcare Investments

This is a role provides the chance to work across the entire investment lifecycle – from origination through to portfolio value creation. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to senior decision-makers and play a central role in transactions within one of the most resilient and impactful areas of private equity investing.

THE ROLE:

• Support the origination and evaluation of investment opportunities across the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on asset-backed businesses.
• Lead financial modelling and detailed analysis to assess investment opportunities.
• Drive execution workstreams including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation processes.
• Collaborate with management teams, advisors, and senior stakeholders to deliver transactions successfully.
• Contribute to portfolio management and value creation initiatives, ensuring growth and strategic alignment post-acquisition.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience coming from Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Consulting.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with a high level of technical ability.
• Experience assessing businesses with an asset-backed component is advantageous.
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills and the ability to present findings effectively.
• A genuine passion for healthcare investing and building value in the lower mid-market.
• ACA qualification is beneficial
