Investment Banking Director

Pearse Partners has partnered with a leading mid-market investment bank, seeking a high-performing Director to join our London & Manchester M&A team, with a focus on transactions in the Industrials sector. You will lead deal origination and execution, manage client relationships at a senior level, and play a key role in driving the growth of our Industrials franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A transactions across the Industrials space (sell-side, buy-side, and cross-border deals).
• Originate new mandates through established client networks and proactive business development.
• Manage and mentor Associate Directors, Associates, and Analysts on live deals and pitches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity, and other financial sponsors.

Requirements

• 9+ years of M&A experience within Industrials at a top-tier investment bank, boutique or Big 4.
• Proven track record in deal origination and execution in the mid-market (c. £50m–£500m EV).
• Strong client network and business development skills.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and negotiation abilities.
• Highly motivated with commercial drive and sector expertise.

This role is able to be based in either the London or Manchester offices.
