We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Healthcare M&A team at Investec. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the management of our Healthcare M&A business while working in a collaborative environment.

What will I be doing?

• You will work closely with an Associate and Associate Director to support origination and execution of complex M&A and capital markets transactions across the healthcare sectors.
• The role demands a high-performing, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple workstreams independently, with exceptional analytical, execution, and communication skills.
• You will be expected to take ownership of materials, maintain high professional standards under tight timelines, and proactively drive deliverables forward while adapting to a fast-paced, exacting environment.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding and demonstrable experience in the preparation of financial analysis, valuation, and modelling techniques.
• Ability to develop and build relevant market, sector, and technical knowledge.
• Competent knowledge and experience of PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation solutions.
• Effective client interaction skills for business generation and execution.
• Ability to use relevant IT applications proficiently.
• Commitment to acting with integrity and treating clients fairly.
• Knowledge of all applicable rules and regulations, including FCA regulations (such as FCA, AIM, City Code on Takeovers) is beneficial.
