The Role
As an Investment Manager – Life Sciences, you’ll support the deployment of capital into breakthrough innovations across biotechnology, therapeutics, diagnostics, and other frontier life sciences fields. You’ll lead transactions from origination through execution with the support of senior colleagues, and manage relationships across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appraise and lead due diligence on new co-investment opportunities, including scientific and financial analysis.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of technical datasets, forecasts, company performance, and management teams.
- Support transaction execution, including financial modelling and negotiation of legal agreements.
- Collaborate closely with internal functions and external advisors throughout the investment process.
- Monitor and report on the portfolio, including valuations and performance tracking.
About You:
· Experience in venture capital or growth-stage investment in life sciences.
· Proven ability to co-invest alongside other funds and work within small, dynamic teams.
· Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and external networks.
· Comfortable reviewing scientific data and building investment models.
· Highly organised, proactive, and capable of delivering results.
