IIGCC are looking to appoint a senior sustainability professional to lead the Investor Strategies Programme. Acre is working on a retained basis to help make this appointment.

Initially established in 2001, IIGCC is an investor-led membership and not-for-profit organisation with 400+ members across 20+ countries. Members include a broad range of asset owners and managers, including many of the largest global and European institutional investors.
IIGCC works with their members to create guidance, tools, frameworks and resources that can help them, in their individual contexts, to manage climate-related financial risk and opportunities within their individual portfolios.
IIGCC's work also supports investors to make the most of opportunities presented by the transition towards a decarbonised global economy and the realities of a changing climate.
Through their leading work, the IIGCC helps investors to navigate implementation of climate considerations in their individual portfolios, advocate for a more supportive policy environment, and provide them with the tools to undertake effective stewardship and engagement with companies,and the wider market.

Role Description
This is an opportunity to be a member of the senior management team (one of four Directors) and lead the Investor Strategies programme team. Reporting in to the CEO.
As a senior figure and programme lead, the remit involves regular engagement with investors, as well as partner organisations and other stakeholders, including other financial service providers, policymakers, businesses and civil society.
IIGCC is an incredible success story. This is an opportunity to leverage IIGCC's achievements to date and to lead the investor programme at a critical time in the organisation's growth and next iteration of development.
