At ED-IT Solutions Ltd, they specialise in delivering high-quality IT support to Primary Schools across the North West. As their company continues to grow, theyre excited to offer a packaged apprenticeship opportunity where youll complete your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship followed immediately by Level 4 giving you a structured, accelerated pathway into a skilled IT career.

Working as part of our expanding team of 7 engineers, youll provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to your allocated schools. Youll become the face of ED-IT Solutions within those schools building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to teaching and learning.

Youll be mentored closely by Adam and supported by an experienced technical team as you develop your skills.

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day In The Job

Deliver 1st & 2nd line IT support to Primary Schools across the North West, becoming the trusted on-site face of ED-IT Solutions Ltd

Install, configure, upgrade and maintain desktops, laptops, iPads, servers (Windows & macOS) and essential classroom technology

Support school networks including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, password resets, MFA setup and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments

Manage cloud platforms, backups (including Veeam), MDM solutions and SharePoint file storage

Work with deployment tools, troubleshooting systems, PowerShell scripting and security solutions to keep systems running efficiently

Provide exceptional customer service via Freshdesk, Teams, email, phone and face-to-face support resolving issues quickly and professionally

Work towards SLAs while ensuring GDPR compliance, accurate documentation and continuous service improvement

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
