🌍 Natcap is hiring a Contract IT Manager 🌍

At Natcap, we’re building tools to accelerate the nature-positive transition by integrating nature intelligence into business decision-making. To meet demanding security and reliability requirements, we’re kicking off a suite of IT and security enhancements — and we need a capable, hands-on IT Contractor to lead delivery.

📍 Hybrid, London

⏳ Initial project: ~18 days (flexible: 3–4 weeks full-time or spread out) + ongoing BAU (5–10 hrs/month)

💰 ~£500/day for project | Higher hourly rate for BAU

🔑 What you’ll do

You’ll take ownership of a broad set of IT initiatives to strengthen our security posture and operational resilience, including:

• Google Workspace hardening (CIS Level 2, admin access controls, 2SV, audit logs)
• macOS laptop hardening via Kandji MDM (CIS Level 2 benchmarks)
• Hardware MFA rollout (Yubikeys for high-risk users)
• Mobile device & MDM rollout (Kandji + Workspace)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) in Workspace & endpoints
• Privileged access management (break-glass accounts, secure workflows)
• Asset inventory accuracy integrated into security monitoring
• Microsoft 365 hardening and MFA enforcement across systems

✅ What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ hands-on IT systems admin / infra engineering experience
• Deep familiarity with Google Workspace & macOS security
• Strong knowledge of identity management, MFA, and secure configuration
• Experience with endpoint hardening (CIS benchmarks, MDM deployment, auditing)
• Clear communicator with excellent documentation skills

Nice to have: Kandji experience, Yubikey rollouts at scale, Microsoft 365 security config, exposure to ISO 27001.
