About the job
We’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to join our office-based IT team.
What you will be doing
The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is a highly practical, hands‑on role responsible for the day‑to‑day running, maintenance, and support of the company’s core infrastructure, networks, telephony, and server environments.
Working closely with the Head of IT, you’ll be the go‑to technical lead for resolving complex issues, managing incidents, maintaining system performance, and ensuring secure, stable operations across on‑prem and cloud services. This role involves direct configuration, troubleshooting, patching, monitoring, and upgrading of systems—while also guiding and supporting the IT Systems Administrator through technical mentoring and daily workload leadership.
With responsibility for maintaining accreditations such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus, and for getting hands on with networking, firewalls, backups, M365, Azure, Intune, and VMware technologies, this role suits someone who loves being immersed in the technical detail while keeping the environment robust, secure, and running smoothly.
