IT Operations and Security Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Manager who is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organisation's IT Support and infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, as well as establishing robust security measures to protect the organisation's data and systems from threats.

The IT Operations/Security Manager will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures. This role is critical to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organisation's information assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting the organisation's strategic goals.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery.
• 5-7 years extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services, within the last 7 years.
• Cybersecurity: Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, conducting security assessments, and managing security incidents.
• Team Leadership: 5+ years’ experience in leading, mentoring, and developing IT Support, infrastructure or Systems Admin teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Vendor Relations: Experience in managing relationships with IT vendors and service
