IT Operations Support Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operations Support Analyst to support day-to-day IT operations and ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business systems. The role involves monitoring systems, resolving operational issues, and working closely with infrastructure, support, and security teams.

This position is ideal for IT professionals with operational support experience who want exposure to enterprise IT environments and service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure operational stability
• Provide operational and technical support for business-critical systems
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents and service issues
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors when required
• Maintain and update incident, problem, and change records
• Support system maintenance, patching, and routine operational tasks
• Assist with access management and user support activities
• Follow ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, and change management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations, IT support, or service management roles
• Good understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or service desks
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure components
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience working in a corporate or enterprise IT environment
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management frameworks
• Experience supporting production or business-critical systems
• Relevant IT certifications (ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent)
