IT Procurement Specialist - Networks & Telco

This role offers a chance to work on the client side, supporting senior consultants on high-profile projects — perfect for someone who has some category experience in networks/telco and is looking to broaden their skills in a consultancy setting.

The Role

You’ll work alongside senior team members to:

• Support sourcing projects across network infrastructure, connectivity, unified comms, and related telco services
• Assist with market analysis, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations
• Help prepare category strategies and tender documentation
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring performance and compliance
• Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements
• Provide insights on market trends and emerging telecoms/network technologies

About You

• Some experience in networks / telco procurement from a client-side or consultancy environment (not directly employed by large telco providers)
• Understanding of procurement processes and basic commercial/contract principles
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to work with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Eager to learn, develop, and take on more responsibility over time
