Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire – 5 days onsite per week

Day Rate: £200 - £275 (depending on experience)

We’re seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to deliver onsite technical support to end users in Northamptonshire. This role focuses on managing incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved by our remote support partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all incidents and service requests for the Northampton office, local branches, and remote users across the UK that require onsite support.
• Provide in-person IT support, guidance, and ticket management from the Northampton Tech Hub.
• Support other UK sites as needed.
• Maintain and support physical IT equipment used by internal staff.
• Accurately track and manage IT assets within the assigned region.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT and telephony hardware/software issues, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Use ServiceNow for incident, request, and asset management.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience providing Level 2 or Level 3 deskside support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT and telephony hardware/software issues.
• Proficiency with core Microsoft technologies.
• Experience using ServiceNow for IT service management.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing IT support environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management best practices.
