Description
We are seeking an experienced First Line IT Support Technician to join our team based at our Bridgend office. Reporting to the central IT function based at our Head Office in Ringwood, this role is well-suited to someone with a strong interest in technology and a desire to further develop their skills within a professional and supportive environment.
As the first point of contact for IT-related queries, you will be responsible for delivering timely and effective technical support to users across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, configuring, and deploying devices, and managing user accounts. You will also be expected to escalate more complex issues to the appropriate support level when required.
Applicants must have prior experience in a first line support role and demonstrate a solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general IT troubleshooting. Strong communication skills, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. The successful candidate will be required to make visits to other sites and a driving licence is required.
