ITSM Consultant - ServiceNow to BMC Helix Migration

One of our leading clients is taking over a major ITSM contract and are looking for an experienced ITSM Consultant to lead the discovery and due diligence phase of a critical migration programme. This high-impact role sits at the heart of a transition from the existing ServiceNow environment to a new BMC Helix ITSM platform.

Your mission will be to deliver a comprehensive assessment of the current ServiceNow-based ITSM setup, identifying how it operates end-to-end, including processes, workflows, configurations, customisations, and integrations. From there, you'll map the current state to BMC Helix equivalents, flag potential gaps or risks, and provide strategic recommendations that will inform how Indra decommissions ServiceNow and brings BMC Helix online in a phased, controlled manner.

We’re seeking someone with strong experience in either BMC Helix or BMC Remedy, ideally with a background in development who has since transitioned into a consultancy or programme leadership role. You should have a deep understanding of core modules such as Smart IT, CMDB, Change, and Incident Management. A solid working knowledge of ServiceNow is also important, as you'll need to assess and interpret existing workflows. This role suits someone who can confidently bridge the gap between technical teams and senior stakeholders, with the ability to uncover undocumented knowledge through interviews and workshops.

This is a UK-based role, not hands-on, but deeply strategic, working alongside the delivery team, who bring the technical firepower.
