Description

Position: Java Architect

Location: Dublin,Ireland(Hybrid)

Experience: 15+ years (with strong Java architectural expertise)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver end-to-end solutions leveraging microservices architecture.
Define and implement integration patterns (Kafka, REST, SOAP when required).
Ensure security best practices are embedded (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).
Drive cloud-native development across AWS/Azure platforms.
Support cloud engineering tasks including containerization, VPC setup, and SSO.
Establish and enforce architecture standards across teams and projects.
Conduct performance benchmarking and optimization of solutions.
Maintain and monitor code quality metrics (SonarQube, cyclomatic complexity).
Identify, track, and manage technical debt to ensure sustainable delivery.

Soft Skills:

Strong stakeholder communication and ability to present architectural decisions clearly.
Skilled in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term roadmap planning.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
Strong expertise in microservices, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks.
Solid understanding of security standards and DevOps practices.
