Key Responsibilities
Design and implement microservices using Java preferably JDK 21 and Spring Boot
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
Collaborate with product owners quality engineers and other developers to deliver highquality solutions
Leverage opensource technologies and internal frameworks to meet business needs
Integrate with distributed cloud services preferably Azure and messaging platforms like Kafka
Contribute to CICD pipelines using tools such as Gitlab and Docker
Participate in code reviews unit testing and performance tuning
Ensure compliance with BNYs security audit and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field
6 years of handson experience in Java development with strong Spring Boot expertise
Proficiency in Lombok JUnit Swagger and modern web architecture
Experience designing and developing reusable frameworks
Strong understanding of microservices distributed systems and cloudnative development
Handson experience with Kafka and API design RESTGraphQL
Familiarity with CICD tools and containerization technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
Experience in access management identity governance or securityfocused development
Exposure to Snowflake DROOLS or Apache Spark
Familiarity with Angular or other frontend frameworks
Working knowledge of additional programming languages eg Python C Groovy
