The role:
As the business expands into new categories, channels and increases in complexity, this role ensures accurate, automated, and insightful reporting across Hair, Skin, Sun, and Tan. Supporting EMEA and CCELT teams, it delivers performance tracking, input into strategic projects, and continuous reporting improvements to enable data-driven decisions and operational efficiency.
What you will do: - Issuing regular reporting across Hair, Skin, Sun and Tan Categories
- Updating and sharing regular performance reports using a blend of sources: EPOS, Scantrack, Panel, Profitero, etc
- Optimising reporting solutions:
- Identify areas to further improve reporting processes/deliverable using Kaizen philosophy
- Implement solutions that automate reporting and allow key stakeholders to self serve for all basic needs
- Create uniform reporting solutions across our categories
- Database management:
- Work with agency partners to ensure all existing products are placed correctly and misplaced products are rectified immediately
- New products are added to databases every month, ensure these are correctly placed using the 'New Adds' process
- Respond to adhoc Insight requests
- Support CCELT & EMEA Team with ad hoc data, insights, visualisation requests
- Input into key Insight projects (channel strategy, portfolio management, growth pillars, market share calculators etc)
- Input may be required on conducting market research surveys through designing and interpreting questionnaire results
- Price and Promo monitoring
- Explore solutions that allow KAO to monitor price and promo movements for our competitive set
- Input into key promo and pricing projects carried out by EMEA inc. RGM.
- Set up NPD performance trackers for KAO and competitor launches
- Share results blending data and insights from multiple sources
What you will need:
- BSc/BA Hons degree or equivalent desired but not essential
- Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other applied science backgrounds nice to have but not at all essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in a data, insights or commercial position
- Demonstrable proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to use Power Bi desired. Additionally, knowledge of Python is desired, but not essential
- Ability to use Circana, Kantar and other retail insight platforms preferred
- Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data from multiple source to create compelling stories with actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent data management and analytical skills
- Ability to combine multiple sources to generate easy to use reports
- Extremely organized with the ability to manage a number of projects and priorities to tight deadlines
- Commercial curiosity with a desire to develop customer understanding
- Strong visualisation skills to present data and insights in an impactful and engaging way
