We're Hiring: Junior Business Analyst
We're on the lookout for a curious, detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Business Support team.
If you're someone who loves digging into data, building reports that make sense to real people, and helping teams make smarter decisions – we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
You'll be helping to turn raw data into useful insights. That means:
- Keeping our dashboards and reports accurate, clear, and up to date
- Supporting regular data audits to help maintain data quality and integrity, with a focus on University Spinouts and Startups data
- Use Power BI to visualise and share insights across the organisation
Working closely with various teams across the business Contributing to statutory reporting
- Spotting opportunities to improve our reporting processes
- Keeping an eye on new tools, including how AI is shaping data analysis
We think you’ll enjoy this role if you:
- Have some experience with data analysis or working with data in another role
- Know your way around Power BI or other data visualisation tools
- Enjoy problem-solving and making sense of numbers
- Can explain data in a way that makes sense to everyone – not just data folks
It’d be a bonus if you also:
- Have used CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics
- Have some knowledge of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics or more advanced data techniques
- Have an understanding of data modelling techniques (OLAP, Star Schemas..)
You’ll be part of a supportive team where learning is encouraged, and your work will contribute to a better understanding of our business and help shape decisions we make across the organisation.
