Are you ready to take the next step in your procurement career within a fast-growing, sustainability-focused industry? We’re hiring a Junior Buyer to join our client, an international provider of solar EPC projects, where you’ll supporting the Head of UK Procurement with purchasing, supplier coordination, and cost-efficient delivery for major UK projects.

Your Role

Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, services, and site consumables.
Request and compare quotations to support negotiation and purchasing decisions.
Raise purchase orders with accurate pricing, terms, and specifications.
Monitor order status and delivery schedules, following up to avoid site delays.
Maintain up-to-date procurement data and reporting in AP+, eGecko, and PowerBI.
Support commercial and project teams with material forecasting.
Help resolve delivery issues, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
Keep supplier records and compliance documentation current.
Assist the Head of Procurement and Finance Director with pricing standardisation and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure all procurement activities meet company processes and sustainability requirements.

About You

Experience in renewable energy projects (solar EPC exposure is a strong plus)
Working with sustainability or compliance requirements
Supporting cost-saving initiatives or procurement standardisation
