Junior Clinical Fellows. The posts are for a
12-month fixed term, with a possibility of a further 1-year extension within Integrated Sexual Health to work alongside a dynamic team of sexual health professionals working at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
This post would be suitable for those wishing to pursue a career in Sexual Health services or General Practice. This post is primarily outpatient based genitourinary medicine and contraception clinics. The postholder will be expected to independently manage unselected patients presenting with a variety of sexual health needs. There will be training opportunities to further develop knowledge and skills under the supervision of senior staff.
The successful applicant will have responsibility to contribute to our sexual health strategy in line with the National Strategies and Kent Public Health priorities including meeting our accessibility targets, population health targets including ending the HIV epidemic (UK 2030 Zero HIV Transmission), increasing Chlamydia testing in those aged < 25 years and reducing unplanned pregnancy through availability of LARC contraception
