Role OverVIOOH
The Supply and Demand teams are looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to support the sales team in their goal to grow the companys revenue. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build experience in commercial analysis, sales strategy, and the media and advertising technology industry.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams and collaborate with finance, supporting their efforts with data, reporting, and analysis. Youll also have exposure to senior leadership, including the Global Chief Customer and Revenue Officer, through the work you support.
As part of your responsibilities, you will help with reporting on sales performance, using our CRM system, and assisting in the preparation of materials that help drive commercial strategy. You will contribute to identifying trends, supporting process improvements, and helping ensure that data and reports are accurate and useful for decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and an eagerness to learn. An interest in media, advertising technology, and the outdoor advertising industry is a plus. This is a full-time position based in our London office, with opportunities to learn and grow in a global business environment.
What Well Expect From You
Operations
- Assist with core sales operations tasks, including maintaining key reports from our CRM system and helping to improve them over time.
- Provide support to the Commercial Operations Manager on analysis and reporting as we build our global data and analysis capability for partners.
- Help prepare materials and reports for operational reviews and business analytics that inform decision-making and track progress on goals (e.g. monthly and quarterly business reviews for key clients).
- Assist in commercial meetings by gathering and preparing data to help the team align on priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Support weekly trading meetings by preparing reports and helping track progress against targets and objectives.
- Contribute to research projects by gathering data on revenue, customers, and markets, helping to provide useful insights for senior leadership.
- Help maintain and review commercial reports and documents, ensuring they are up to date and meet the reporting needs of clients.
- Contribute ideas to help improve reporting processes and support the team in making these improvements happen.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support effective communication of key updates from leadership across the business.
- Assist on ad hoc data and reporting projects, including preparing summaries and trend reports for leadership meetings.
What We Want From You
- Bachelors degree in economics, business or other relevant/quantitative disciplines including marketing operations, preferably in the digital media space
- Strong interest in the digital advertising industry
- Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving projects from strategy to execution
- Experience and familiarity with CRM tools like Hubspot
- Superior Excel and Powerpoint skills
Preferred
- Experience at a leading ad tech, consulting or media business
- Expertise in the Ad Tech industry
- Demonstrable experience working in developing and executing successful plans
- SQL experience a plus
