About CTI

At CTI, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. As leaders in our field, we strive to deliver exceptional, custom-tailored solutions that drive success for our clients. Our expert team combines industry insight with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that we not only meet expectations but exceed them.

We're committed to fostering an environment where creativity flourishes, and collaboration thrives. By embracing the challenges of a dynamic global market, we aim to set the standard for excellence and integrity in our industry. If you're passionate about making a difference and advancing your career with a team that values professionalism and innovation, CTI is the place for you.

The team

Our Data & Insights team underpins key decision-making across CTI, driving smarter business outcomes with clear, consistent, and actionable insights. This team blends engineering rigour with strategic thinking to build and maintain robust data systems that fuel analytics and business intelligence. As part of the broader Technology function, you'll work closely with stakeholders from across the business to ensure our data infrastructure delivers impact at every level

What you’ll be doing

As our Data Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of our cloud-based data infrastructure and reporting ecosystem. You’ll play a critical role in transforming fragmented data into trusted, structured systems that power decision-making across the business. You’ll:

  • Maintain, extend and optimise our central data warehouse and associated ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines.
  • Build reliable data models, combining datasets from multiple platforms into a fully related and normalised structure suitable for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and manage visualisations in Tableau Cloud, transforming complex data into intuitive, actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose BI solutions.
  • Continuously review data structures and reporting outputs, identifying improvements that drive insight, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Implement and manage rigorous data quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness.
  • Partner with a programme coordinator to maintain a roadmap of system improvements and prioritise delivery with key business stakeholders.
  • Ensure the security and proper access of company data in compliance with best practices.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all systems, processes, and data flows.

What experience you need to be successful

We’re not looking for perfection - we’re looking for potential. This role would suit someone who’s recently graduated or is early in their career and wants to grow in a hands-on data role. If the following sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:

  • You’ve used Tableau (or a similar BI tool like Power BI or Looker) to build dashboards or reports
  • You have a good grasp of data analysis, and can spot trends or inconsistencies in numbers
  • You’re comfortable writing and editing SQL queries
  • You’re naturally curious and like digging into data to answer real questions
  • You enjoy simplifying the complex and presenting information clearly
  • You’re organised, detail-oriented, and open to feedback
  • Bonus: experience working with cloud tools like Google Sheets, HubSpot, or any ELT tools (e.g. Fivetran)

We’re challenging the 'Gender Confidence Gap,' which suggests that individuals will only apply for a job if they meet 100% of the criteria. Some of our best hires didn’t check every box in the role description, so if you were about to rule yourself out, we still encourage you to apply!
