Our work is insights-driven and innovation-led, and our strategies are made up of a blend of creativity and collaboration, tailor-made for each of our client’s brands. The Insights and Strategy team at Substance both works on projects for external clients, as well as supporting the needs of the other internal teams.
GENERAL SUMMARY
A junior insights and strategy executive is just starting out and has a keen interest in the details and numbers behind the scenes that support creative, strategy, and reporting in marketing campaigns. This person is eager to learn and is not afraid to pitch in wherever the team may need their support. You will communicate clearly with colleagues and team members. You have a general understanding of other teams and their roles, and may occasionally assist other teams to gain a deeper understanding of each line of business. You should be passionate about research and strategy, as well as having an interest in entertainment, culture, healthcare and doing good. You will be strong in creative writing and be able to tell a story via data, draw conclusions and develop creative outcomes from the information gathered, being mindful of context and the client’s needs. You will have a desire to not only focus on tight turnaround on projects, but also to understand how insights are gathered, developed, and shared with internal stakeholders, as well as clients.
