HSPG: A social impact real estate company

Our mission is simple: Building partnerships, creating homes, developing communities.

There is a critical lack of affordable housing across the UK, affecting the most vulnerable people in our community.

We build long-term partnerships with Local Authorities to acquire and manage demand-driven social and affordable housing across various tenures, as per the image below.

Across HSPG’s Living Sector platforms, we are actively acquiring 2,500 high-quality homes from national housebuilders and developers by the end of 2025. These properties are managed by our experienced team, grouped into portfolios, and funded by our institutional investment partners.

HSPG aims to positively impacts our residents’ lives, while providing long-term, sustainable returns for our investment partners.

Core mission:

You bring HSPG’s brand to life through thoughtful, high-quality design that supports internal and external communications, investor materials, and campaigns across the business.

You support the Brand Manager throughout the whole design process: from concept to delivery. You collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective, on-brand visual solutions. You help ensure that everything we share internally, with partners, and the public is consistent, engaging, and aligned with our brand standards.

You are hands-on in producing visual content across multiple formats, including presentations, print, digital, social, and internal channels. You make it your mission to ensure every piece of collateral is clear, compelling, and beautifully executed.

You contribute to the evolution of HSPG’s visual identity by bringing fresh ideas and staying attuned to design trends and audience preferences. By taking ownership of day-to-day design delivery, you enhance brand perception, strengthen our reputation, and improve internal engagement.

You actively seek feedback and opportunities to grow your design skills, tools, and best practices in branding and communication.

Obsess: These points get you out of bed in the morning and keep you up at night! If you’re not obsessed with these, the role isn’t for you.

  • Consistency - you spot when a font is off, a heading is misaligned, or the colours don’t match. You care deeply about the details others might miss.
  • Clarity - you love turning complex information into visuals that are easy to understand and engaging to look at.
  • Time management - you don’t wait for reminders. You’re proactive, organised, and take pride in hitting deadlines.

Excel: You are excellent at these areas: an expert.

  • Brand application - you know how to work within brand guidelines, and when it’s appropriate to stretch them.
  • Collaboration - you take on feedback with openness, listen to others, and deliver what’s needed without ego.
  • Visual asset prep - you can confidently export assets for print and digital, with tidy, well-organised files that others can easily use.
  • Presentation – you're the go-to for layout and formatting. You can turn basic content into slick, professional slides and proposals.

Specific experience:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing layout and branding work
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for design
