Junior Developer

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

About the role:

We're looking for a curious and motivated Developer to join our development team. In this entry-level role, you'll contribute to the ongoing development and support of our customer, owner, and internal-facing websites and systems. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, learning best practices and gaining hands-on experience as you grow your technical skills in a supportive environment.

What will I be doing?

As a Developer, your day-to-day role may include:

• Assisting with the development of web applications and features
• Writing clean, maintainable code under guidance from senior team members
• Contributing to testing efforts and helping to identify bugs or issues
• Participating in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative planning
• Learning about our tech stack, tools, and development processes
• Continuously improving your skills through training, feedback, and mentoring

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A good foundation in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Some experience or exposure to React, Next.js, or Express (even via personal or academic projects)
• A willingness to learn additional technologies such as SQL, AWS, or C#
• An understanding of version control (e.g. Git)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to take feedback and apply it constructively
• An interest in writing tests and building quality software
• A desire to be part of a team where learning and development are encouraged
