Gordon Ramsay Restaurants are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance department, with a key focus on delivering accurate, timely and insightful reporting.
Based at our Head Office at Wandsworth Road, London, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to grow and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of the Group Finance department, providing essential analysis and financial support. Reporting to the FP&A Analyst, you will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the FP&A function while developing your skills and knowledge in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular weekly and monthly data checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of sales dashboards used across UK and International markets.
- Extract and compile weekly sales mix data across the UK and US restaurant group for reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and update the weekly KPI scorecard, ensuring timely input from various teams and stakeholders.
- Perform data validation by comparing dashboard results with existing reports to ensure consistency.
- Refresh and monitor data feeds, resolving issues to maintain the integrity and availability of dashboards and reports.
- Support ad hoc data requests and reporting tasks as needed by the Finance or Operations teams.
- Support monthly closing activities by providing sharp, insightful analysis and commentary for the management reporting package
Requirements:
- Currently studying or planning to study towards a recognised qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) planning to pursue a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expert in Excel, including data management, financial modelling and advanced formula skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel in previous academic projects, internships, or professional roles.
- Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a dynamic, international business environment.
- Strong time management skills, capable of efficiently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and maintaining high standards of work throughout tasks.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting and perform well under pressure.
- Solid literacy and numeracy skills, essential for interpreting financial data and reports accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with colleagues and stakeholders.
