Job Overview
The role will work closely with the HR Business Partnering team and management teams for SSUK and TSS to deliver a number of HR projects within the business, as well as supporting HR BAU in various business units as required.
Reporting to the Senior HRBP, the role will work flexibly across the business and will blend knowledge of HR process and best practice with a skill for project management
Key Responsibilities / Accountablities
- Developing and delivering project plans to meet the needs of the business. Projects will be varied and will be across all businesses with a particular focus on work force planning and understanding current and future business resource requirements are in place to deliver business labour requirements and the Employment Rights Bill.
- Drive best practice within the business, coaching business leaders and providing advice and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle to improve
- management capability and accountability for their populations
- Tracking and managing progress on projects, escalating any issues or business risks where appropriate.
- Support the HR BP Team to build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk potential scenarios and options to mitigate.
- Provide expert HR advice to effectively resolve complex employee relations issues
- Be an ambassador by always doing the right thing for the HR function and represent the G4S SSUK HR internally and externally (as appropriate).

Essential
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an ER-related or HR generalist role.
- Extensive experience in coaching and advising managers of all abilities in HR matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE.
- CIPD qualification (ideally L5 or above).
- Resilient and confident in advising & negotiating managers on the telephone and via video call.
- Excellent understanding of UK Employment law.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working demands and priorities.
- Relationship Management Skills - e.g. influencing, stakeholder management, dealing and having with difficult conversations, building credibility within the operational management teams
Desirable
- Knowledge of the security industry and SIA
- Experience Using Google Platforms
- Experience partnering different types of employee populations / cross industry experience
