Our Team
You will be supporting the Corporate Practice Group providing secretarial and administration support. You'll be reporting into the Secretarial Services Manager and will be working alongside Partners and Associates and other Secretaries. Occasionally, you may be expected to provide support to other teams as and when required.
Our Opportunity
In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the same. This role would be ideal for someone who has Corporate experience and is currently carrying out administration and secretarial duties within an office environment.
You'll conduct client inceptions, undertake in-depth billing and will deal with payment forms. You will work on some documentation and dictation. You'll be dealing with expenses, arranging travel for the fee-earners and getting involved in the daily tasks of a busy law firm. You will receive full training to enable you to undertake monthly billing.
You will need to keep all client files up to date and make sure all paper and electronic filing is up-to-date. You must have a positive and professional approach at all times.
Once you have successfully completed your probation, you will be able to work remotely one day per week. This will be a set day per week, but some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the team.
Monday-Friday, 9.00am- 5.00pm

As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactive individual who can easily prioritise. You'll need to have the flexibility to assist other departments when required. You should also be able to use your initiative and spot where help is needed with limited supervision.
You'll need to be a self-starter who is able to juggle priorities.
As you will be dealing with clients of the firm, excellent communication skills are key for this role. Ideally you'll have good knowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills, and a good eye for detail are a must!
You will have 2 years' experience of working in a professional service firm with some experience in Corporate.
