Junior Merchandiser

The Junior Merchandiser will manage the flow of stock to Distribution Centres and stores to deliver optimal availability, sales and profit. You will also be responsible for leading the flow of stock for news stores, refits and new products and promotions.

What you will be doing:

• Calculating and creating purchase orders
• Managing store & Distribution Centre stock levels
• Supplier liaison & forecasting, including resolving and escalating issues
• Managing stock intake to achieve month end targets as well as availability and fulfilment targets
• Distribution centre communication & relationship management
• Forecasting, planning and stock building for new stores and promotions
• Working cross functionally with buyers, display planning & operations to ensure excellent promotion and new store execution
• Line managing Distribution Administrator and Distributor colleagues

What we are looking for:

• Experience in numerical focused role where in contact with a large amount of data to analyse
• Excellent organisational ability and strong attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, time management and prioritisation
• Critical path management
• Someone who leads and develops a positive culture with the team and has good interpersonal skills and great stakeholder management
