Job Description
Our dynamic and collaborative Global People Team spans the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. We’re passionate about balancing the needs of our people and the business, building strong relationships, supporting growth, and driving success together.
We’re now looking for a Junior People Advisor to join us in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (3 days a week), supporting all people-related matters across the EMEA region. This role would be a great fit for a Junior People Advisor or a People Administrator ready to take the next step in their career, joining a friendly and collaborative People team.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior People Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting our EMEA team with a wide range of HR activities. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive People team, gaining exposure to all areas of the employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries via our ticketing system, escalating more complex matters when needed,
- Using our HR system (Workday) to update and manage employee data and run reports,
- Drafting HR documentation such as contracts, addendums, probation letters, and performance-related correspondence,
- Supporting the payroll process by gathering and checking monthly data to ensure accuracy,
- Assisting managers with straightforward employee relations matters like probation reviews, flexible working requests, and family leave queries,
- Coordinating onboarding for new EMEA employees — including preparing contracts, scheduling inductions, and sending welcome communications,
- Helping to maintain and update HR policies and templates.
- Looking for ways to improve our processes and tools to make things more efficient,
- Tracking key HR activities such as probation and performance reviews, and flagging any issues,
- Supporting the team with HR projects and internal communications.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to grow their HR career in a global setting. Here’s what will help you succeed in this role:
- Some experience in an HR or People team, with exposure to handling employee queries,
- Good understanding of UK employment law and a willingness to learn more,
- Great communication and interpersonal skills — you’re approachable, professional, and a good listener,
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel),
- Familiarity with HR systems or a willingness to learn (experience with Workday is a plus!),
- A proactive and flexible approach — you’re happy to take initiative and support the team where needed,
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail,
- The ability to manage your time well and prioritise tasks effectively.
Benefits
- 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,
- Additional day off for your birthday,
- Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,
- Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,
- Salary sacrifice pension scheme,
- Enhanced family leave,
- Confidential Employee Assistance Program,
- Cycle to work scheme.
