Role Summary
We are looking to recruit a Junior level Agile Project Manager, looking to develop and grow their career, for a hybrid role in Glasgow with an Infrastructure focus to be based within commuting distance of our Glasgow City Centre office.
In this role you will be managing Team Kanban and/or Scrum Boards within the Infrastructure Project Delivery Team, leading several small to medium sized IT Infrastructure Projects across Europe, MENA, India, and APAC Regions and will be working alongside experienced Project Managers in larger Projects and wider Programme and Portfolio Management activities within the International Markets Infrastructure Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing several projects and/or programme work-streams in parallel that may include activities such Datacentre Consolidation/Migration, New Regional Office Set-Up, Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Security and Technology Upgrade (hardware and/or software) Projects.
- Co-ordinating Stakeholders and activities required to design, build, and implement successful Infrastructure Solutions.
- Working closely with internal and external IT/Business Partners to deliver assigned projects within the Infrastructure Portfolio, including Application and Service Delivery teams and European, US, Middle East and Asia Pacific based Engineering teams.
Candidates should have a strong interest in and some knowledge of Infrastructure technology areas such as Cloud Engineering, Compute/Storage, Database Management, Networking, Voice Solutions, Virtual Desktop Environments and Endpoint Device Management.

Agile delivery experience using tools such as Jira would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Works within defined project management processes and methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Clearly define and articulate project resource needs and work with stakeholders to confirm resource availability (through the PI Planning Process).
- Identify and define Roles & Responsibilities for Project activities, considering who is best placed to provide the appropriate skills and expertise from within internal and external teams.
- Work closely with Portfolio Lead and Finance teams to establish a Financial Plan for the project and manage the plan in accordance with agreed budgets.
- Clearly define the scope of the project in terms of the key activities and decisions required to successfully execute. Ensure scope is clearly defined / decomposed in Jira and work assigned to the appropriate team members.
- Develop and manage a robust delivery plan for each Project, including appropriate milestones and review points for measuring progress.
- Rigorously manage project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Provide timely communication of project status, performance results, issues and risks to schedule, cost, and quality to project stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in the delivery of IT systems and services would be desirable, however more important is a strong interest in technology delivery and a keen desire to learn and grow your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Some experience across broad technology disciplines such as Public Cloud, Networking, Compute (Server/Storage), Telephony/Contact Centre and Application Architectures is desirable.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile) for overseeing all aspects of projects, including planning, resource allocation, budget, requirements, design, and delivery execution through to handover to Production Support.
- Demonstrable leadership, people management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization working across multiple time-zones to support project delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools including MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience in Agile tools (JIRA), collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint etc.) and ServiceNow would be advantageous
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar field.
- Knowledge of, qualifications and/or certifications in industry standard project management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2 or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desirable.
