ISS Market Intelligence is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to support our sales efforts across the EMEA territories. In this role you will market to and interact with representatives from large financial institutions including Heads of Distribution, Strategy, Product and Business Intelligence.
The Junior Sales Executive will identify new business prospects across ISS MI’s suite of products. Ideal candidates will be results driven and highly motivated to generate new opportunities within the region and grow existing prospect relationships. Use your creativity to correspond with, schedule meetings, and build relationships with C-Level executives. Use your teamwork skills to liaise with senior colleagues to determine territory sales strategies. Identify accounts for prospecting with your earnings potential based on the activity you can drive. Build proficiency in the asset management industry including (but not limited to) Distribution Intelligence, Research and Industry Trends.

Responsibilities
- Establish a good understanding of all ISS MI products and services, as well as their respective markets
- Achieve revenue goals by identifying and closing sales prospects
- Grow ISS MI’s market share, recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community
- Continuously assess market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
- Build and maintain relationships amongst prospects
- Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system
- Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments
- Attend relevant industry events
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Research teams to create campaigns
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within sales and relationship management - experience selling within the Financial Services industry a definite plus but not necessary
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred
- Track record of relationship management, business development and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners
- Fluency in English, and one other European language would be advantageous
- Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help manage priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Absolute personal and business integrity
- Must be proficient at using Microsoft Office tools
- Innovative, customer orientated thinker able to identify and exploit market opportunities
- Must be able to utilise lead generating software and learn new technologies quickly, for example HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoominfo, etc.
