Deputy Sister/Charge nurse
Department: Ward 19
Band 6 pro rata if part-time
Hours: 30 Hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
Are you interested in making a real difference to nursing?
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Nurse to assist in the leadership and development of our ward. Focusing on excellent, high quality care to our frail older patients. We are looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm, professionalism and energy to the division of Medicine Milton Keynes University Hospital
The medicine division is a friendly dedicated team, who are committed to improving services for our patients. There is a strong emphasis on team support and development, with opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge, skills and managerial/leadership experience.
If you are an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience, we invite you to apply.

To supervise and develop the knowledge and skills of junior staff.
To initiate/facilitate developments in nursing practice in partnership with the ward manager.
To be the ward representative when the ward manager is unavailable.
