About This Role
Join our dynamic engineering team as a Junior Software Developer focused on analytics and developer productivity. You’ll contribute to exciting projects involving cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, AI applications, and developer tooling while growing your technical skills in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Database & Analytics
- Build and maintain database solutions using Snowflake for our new application
- Develop capacity planning tools for systems monitoring and reporting
- Create trend analysis dashboards and automated reporting systems
- Implement system configuration tracking solutions
Developer Productivity & Metrics
- Design and implement developer productivity metrics using Jira and Blue Optima
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify productivity improvement opportunities
- Build dashboards and visualization tools for development metrics
- Support data-driven decision making across engineering teams
Software Development
- Contribute to our modern generative AI application development
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative development processes
- Learn and apply new technologies in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills
- Experience with SQL and database technologies (Snowflake experience valued but not required)
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization concepts
Collaborative Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environments
- Curiosity about developer tools and productivity optimization
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with developer tools like Jira, Git, or similar
- Interest in AI/ML technologies and applications
- Background in data analytics or business intelligence
