Profile
You have spent your first year or two building confidence in front-end development, primarily with React. You are now comfortable delivering UI features independently and want to continue improving your skills in a collaborative setting.
You care about clean, maintainable code and like building tools that are used in real working environments. You are curious about how full systems work and are interested in gradually expanding into full-stack development, supported by an experienced and approachable team.
Why this role?
General information
Whitby Wood is a multidisciplinary engineering practice working across structures, civil engineering, and geotechnics. Alongside our project work, we design and develop our own in-house software tools to support engineering workflows and internal business operations.
We are currently focused on improving the usability, reliability, and performance of these tools. We believe some of the tools, already in daily use across the business, have strong potential for future external release. Our development stack is primarily web-based and includes ASP.NET Core, Blazor, JavaScript, and React, with GitHub and Azure supporting our DevOps process.
