Position:
Solutions and Delivery provides the inhouse Development and Solution Architecture functions. We build, maintain, and improve our in house developed applications and application integrations for both in house and 3rd party applications. Solution Architecture designs and directs the Bank’s technology evolution - enforcing our standards, documenting our designs, and guiding implementation.

Other information:
- Accuracy and Completeness of the HTB CMDB – The HTB CMDB records and defines the architecture, tooling and interconnectivity of the HTB organisation. This role will take ownership of the CMDB, ensuring the contents remains accurate and evolving its scope and schema to reflect the growth of HTB. The role will be ultimately responsible for the accuracy of this data and cooperate with HTB Solution Architects to agree schemas and various stakeholders to collect data.
- Integration and automation of the HTB CMDB with consuming applications and activities – The HTB CMBD is used to define objects in the HTB service desk, interface to Important Business Services (IBSs), reports for regulators and audit, etc. This role will require understanding those downstream applications and their users, ensure their data is captured needs supported and automating their delivery wherever possible.
- Solution Architecture Work – Creation of Blueprints and Solution Designs and supporting documentations to reflect assigned HTB project work and architectural transitions. The role will need to take requirements input from the BAs or the business directly, create the deliverable documents and process them through Architecture Review (ARF). The role then stays attached to projects to assist in delivery, queries, budget issues, etc.
- Systems, Business and Process Understanding – The role will seek to understand and document the technology estate at HTB. Create and share documentation in an accessible format and work to improve the general understanding the HTB IT Architecture.
- Stakeholder Management – The role will need to collect, contrast and balance a range of stakeholder inputs to both the CMDB and Solution Designs. The role must seek the best, long term, strategic outcome in these.
