2 – What You’ll Do?

As a Structural Engineer, you are going to be on boarded on Hinkley Point C project, in Bristol. Indeed, thanks to our partnership with EDF, we're going to set up a Mentoring programme. You will work hand in hand with one of our ABMI engineers, directly at the heart of the major nuclear construction project in the UK.

• Assist in the design, analysis, and verification of structural components in line with project specifications and industry standards.
• Support senior engineers in producing structural calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Participate in site visits and inspections under supervision to understand construction processes and ensure design compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Engage actively in the tutor program, including training sessions, technical workshops, and mentoring meetings.

4 – Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of structural design principles, with specific knowledge of Eurocodes and their application.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• High level of curiosity and a proactive approach to nuclear sector.
• Strong motivation to grow professionally and contribute positively to the project and team.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic project needs.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to Bristol for the project duration.
