Description

We’re working with a leading consultancy supporting a high-profile MOD programme, and are looking for a Junior Technical Project Manager to join on a 12-month contract with an immediate start.

📍 Location: Corsham (2–3 days per week onsite)

⏳ Contract: 12 months

💷 Rate: £200–£225/day (Inside IR35 via umbrella)

🔐 Clearance: Active MOD SC required

Junior Technical Project Manager Role:

You’ll be supporting the delivery of technical projects within a structured MOD environment, working alongside senior project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining RAID logs, action logs, and project documentation
Supporting project planning, scheduling, and reporting
Assisting with governance and assurance activities
Coordinating with technical teams and suppliers
Ensuring delivery aligns with agreed controls and standards

About You

Experience in a junior / assistant Project Manager or PMO-style role
Exposure to technical or IT-enabled projects
Working knowledge of PRINCE2 (certification desirable)
Confident managing RAID, reporting, and stakeholder updates
Previous experience within MOD, defence, or government environments preferred
Able to commit to onsite working in Corsham
